Shopify Developer Needed for On-Call, Ongoing Project Work

looking for a reliable, long-term freelance Shopify developer. This is NOT a full-time position. I do not need a fixed 40-hour-a-week commitment. Instead, I am looking for an "on-call" partner. I want an A-player I can send fixed-price projects or hourly tasks to whenever I need them, knowing they will be executed quickly and flawlessly. What the work looks like: Landing Page Edits: Building and modifying high-converting landing pages based on mockups or visual direction. Design & Theme Customization: Coding custom sections directly into our Shopify theme using clean Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JS (No heavy, slow page-builder apps). Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Implementing UI/UX tweaks to cart drawers, product pages, and checkout flows to lift conversions. Backend & App Integration: Installing, configuring, and cleaning up backend apps, upsell logic, or custom bundling functionality. Site Performance: Optimizing code to ensure lightning-fast mobile loading speeds. What I am looking for: Absolute Reliability: When a project is assigned, turnaround times must be consistent. If a bug breaks something on the site, I need a fast response. An Eye for Mobile Design: 90%+ of our traffic is mobile. Your work must look pixel-perfect and operate seamlessly on all mobile screens without me having to tell you to test it. Proactive Problem Solving: If you see a piece of old, dead app code slowing down the site, or a layout shift that looks messy, you fix it or bring it to my attention. How we will work together: you will become my go-to developer for all ongoing brand updates. We can structure future work via fixed-price milestones per project or via a capped hourly contract. HOURS & PAYMENT STRUCTURE: This is an on-call, ad-hoc hourly position. Some weeks I will have 0 hours of work for you. Other weeks, when we are launching a new landing page or optimizing code, I might have 5 to 10 hours of work. You will only bill for the exact time spent executing tasks. For larger, clearly defined assets (like a completely new landing page design), we can mutually agree to pause the hourly tracker and use a single, agreed-upon Fixed-Price milestone if preferred.
