Shopify Developer Needed for Premium Mahjong E-commerce Website

We are looking for an experienced Shopify developer/designer to build a premium ecommerce website for a new mahjong brand. We are looking for someone who can create a polished, elegant, and trustworthy Shopify website suitable for a premium mahjong/lifestyle product range. Website Style Direction We would like the website to have a similar premium e-commerce feel to brands such as: • Mahj Tile Haus • Mahjong Row & Co. • Haus of Tiles These are references for overall quality, layout, product storytelling, and premium presentation only. We do not want to copy their website, branding, product descriptions, images, or exact design. The website should feel: • Premium and elegant • Clean and easy to shop • Suitable for collectors, gift buyers, and mahjong players • Lifestyle-focused, not just a basic product store • Trustworthy for international customers • Mobile-friendly and fast-loading • Easy for us to update after handover Main Website Requirements We need a Shopify store that includes: • Homepage • Product collection pages • Individual product pages • Waiting list / pre-launch sign-up page • Email capture integration • About / brand story page • Contact page • FAQ page • Shipping policy page • Returns policy page • Privacy policy • Terms of service • Basic SEO setup • Mobile and desktop optimization Product Categories The website should be built so we can add multiple product categories over time, including: • Mahjong tile sets • Bundle sets • Mahjong mats • Mahjong racks • Mahjong bags • Tile storage • Accessories • Gift sets • Other future products Some products may not be ready at the start, so the website structure should allow us to easily add more collections later. Waiting List / Pre-Launch Feature We need a strong waiting list function before launch. This should include: • Name and email collection • Optional country/location field • Optional product interest field • Clear call-to-action sections across the website • Thank-you message after sign-up • Integration with Shopify Email, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or another recommended email platform • Ability to export or segment the waitlist Shipping Requirements The store should be set up for worldwide shipping, but we want to exclude risky, sanctioned, or blacklist countries. We need help setting up: • International shipping zones • Excluded countries/regions • Shipping rates or shipping logic • Basic guidance on best Shopify apps for international shipping • Clear shipping information for customers SEO Requirements The website should include basic SEO setup, including: • SEO-friendly page titles • Meta descriptions • Clean URL structure • Image alt text • Product page SEO • Collection page SEO • Basic site speed optimization • Google Search Console setup guidance, if possible Development Process Requirement During development, we require a password-protected staging or development version of the Shopify site so we can review progress before launch. We would like the project to include clear checkpoints, such as: 1. Website structure and theme direction 2. Homepage draft 3. Product page and collection page draft 4. Waiting list setup 5.
