Shopify Expert Needed for Custom E-commerce Store Development

Project Overview We are looking for an experienced Shopify developer to convert an existing website prototype into a fully functional Shopify store. A working frontend prototype has already been built (Next.js/Vercel). The selected freelancer will receive access to the prototype after project award. The objective is to recreate its design, user experience, and functionality within Shopify while following Shopify best practices. This is not a greenfield design project. The primary work is implementing the existing design and adding the required Shopify functionality and integrations. Project Scope The Shopify implementation will include approximately: 300+ products Multiple product collections/categories Industry-specific solution pages Responsive Shopify theme Quote request functionality Artwork upload functionality Dynamic product pricing Bulk pricing where applicable Third-party supplier API integration The website should be scalable and easy to manage as the catalogue grows. Shopify Functionality The website should support standard Shopify ecommerce features, including: Products Collections Product variants Cart Checkout Search Customer accounts (if required) Responsive design Where possible, native Shopify functionality or well-supported apps should be used. Custom Development Required The following functionality is expected to require custom development or third-party app integration: Dynamic pricing based on selected product options Bulk pricing rules Quote request workflow Artwork upload during enquiry or purchase Supplier API integration Import structure for 300+ products Custom templates matching the supplied prototype The developer should recommend the most suitable implementation approach for each requirement. Supplier API A third-party supplier API will be integrated for product-related information. The integration may include: Product information Product images Variants Pricing Stock availability Supplier SKUs Supplier documentation will be provided after project commencement.
