Shopify GEO specialist – One-Time Setup: robots.txt, Sitemap & llms.txt

Overview This is a one-time technical setup project, not ongoing work. We need our Shopify store properly configured so AI crawlers (and search engines) can access and index our content correctly. Scope of work robots.txt & sitemap.xml Review our current robots.txt and sitemap.xml on Shopify and fix any misconfigurations. Make sure all relevant pages/collections/blog posts are crawlable and included in the sitemap. Submit the sitemap to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. llms.txt via Cloudflare Workers Implement an llms.txt file at the root of our domain to guide AI crawlers. Important known constraint: Shopify's Cloudflare layer blocks some LLM crawlers at the CDN level on certain paths (specifically /blogs/ URLs), and this is not configurable through robots.txt — it happens upstream at the CDN. You need to know how to work around this using Cloudflare Workers (or confirm/document if a workaround isn't possible) rather than just dropping a static file and calling it done. General AI-readiness check Beyond the two items above, do a quick audit of anything else technical that could be limiting how AI systems (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, etc.) can read, crawl, or cite our site. TWe just want a short list of "here's what else I noticed that's worth fixing," with enough detail that we can decide what to act on.
