Shopify / Google SEO Expert

We have a Shopify store with approximately 2,800 hard-to-find boat products and growing. We migrated from WooCommerce on February 16th with the help of a consultant from Upwork. We believe we have exceeded the expertise of that firm. Our products are typically found on Google via part number searches, so visibility under part number queries—including replacement and superseded part numbers—is critical to our success. We understand that a dip in performance can occur after a platform migration while Google re-establishes trust. However, at this point, we expected significantly stronger visibility and indexing. We also have concerns related to Google Search Console and Google Analytics, specifically in how they are interpreting and reporting data from our store, including visits, conversions, and abandoned carts. We are therefore looking for someone with strong expertise in SEO, Shopify, and large catalog management, particularly in structuring collections, product listings, and overall site architecture to maximize visibility in both Shopify search and, more importantly, Google search. Separately, we would like to explore Google Shopping as an additional channel to increase exposure for all or selected products, along with other strategies to better surface our product catalog.
