Shopify Liquid Expert – Custom Theme Shell & Advanced Cart Logic (Project Terracotta)

Job Description We are looking for a talented Senior Shopify Developer to build the front-end theme architecture and specialised functional skeleton for a premium e-commerce brand (Project Terracotta). We already have established style guidelines and a clear mobile UI prototype mapping the interface. Your job is 100% technical implementation, template architecture, and custom Liquid logic. 🛠️ Scope of Work & Core Deliverables: Custom Theme Skeleton (Liquid): Implement a clean, ultra-premium UI layout mapping specific web typography and a flexible CSS variables theme setting. The default accent colour is a rich terracotta tone. Modular Sections: The homepage and collection layouts must be 100% modular using Shopify Sections. This will allow our in-house team to easily swap out curated content blocks and entire product grids every 3 months (Quarterly Drops) without touching the codebase. Advanced Hybrid Cart Logic (Split Shipping): This is the core technical challenge of the project. The store operates on a hybrid inventory model (mixing international items and locally stocked items). You must configure Shopify Line Item Properties to capture and display different shipping promises dynamically inside the cart drawer and cart page: - Capsule items must display: "14-day priority air freight — International hub" - Permanent items must display: "48-hour delivery — in stock" Asset Packaging & Mobile Performance Optimisation: Clean up and integrate our text-based logo in high-definition SVG formats and configure the browser favicon. All interface icons must be injected as inline SVG native code directly into the liquid templates.
