Shopify Privacy & Tracking Audit (CIPA / Consent Compliance)

We operate a Shopify ecommerce store and recently received a legal demand letter alleging that marketing and analytics trackers may be firing before user consent is obtained. We are looking for an experienced Shopify privacy and tracking specialist to perform a complete audit and remediation of our tracking architecture. IMPORTANT: This is not a theme development project. We are specifically looking for someone with deep experience in consent management, tracking technologies, GTM, GA4, Meta Pixel, Shopify Customer Events, and privacy compliance. Objectives: 1. Preserve and document our current tracking configuration before any changes are made. 2. Identify all tracking technologies currently active on the site. 3. Determine which trackers, pixels, cookies, and scripts are firing before consent is granted. 4. Identify all sources of tracking code, including: * Shopify Customer Events * Shopify Apps * Theme code * Google Tag Manager * Third-party integrations 5. Recommend and implement a compliant consent architecture. 6. Configure consent controls so marketing and analytics technologies do not fire until appropriate consent is granted. 7. Configure and validate Google Consent Mode v2. 8. Test and document the final implementation. Technologies we currently use may include: * Shopify * Consentmo * Meta Pixel * Google Analytics / GA4 * Google Ads * Klaviyo * TikTok * Pinterest * Reddit * Google Tag Manager Deliverables: * Written audit report * List of all trackers and data collection technologies * Documentation of what was firing before consent * Documentation of all changes made * Final validation report showing tracker behavior before and after consent * Video walkthrough of findings and recommendations Required Experience: * Shopify * Google Tag Manager * Google Consent Mode v2 * Cookiebot, Consentmo, Usercentrics, or OneTrust * Meta Pixel * GA4 * Shopify Customer Events * Cookie and consent compliance implementations When applying, please provide: 1.
