Shopify SEO Specialist (Dev Experience + Strategy) for eCommerce Agency

We're an established SEO agency specializing in eCommerce, and we're looking for a sharp Shopify SEO expert to join us as an execution-focused partner on client accounts. Your primary role will be implementing SEO recommendations generated by our proprietary internal tooling — so you'll need to be comfortable working within structured workflows and acting as the human-in-the-loop who reviews, validates, and carries out prioritized recommendations efficiently. Beyond execution, we need someone who thinks strategically. You'll work directly with the agency lead, who will brief you on the biggest site-level issues and brand context. From there, you should be able to zoom out, assess the full picture, and prioritize intelligently — not just follow a checklist. Development experience on Shopify is strongly preferred. You should be comfortable editing theme code (Liquid, HTML/CSS/JS), managing metafields, structured data, crawl efficiency, and technical on-page optimizations. What you'll be doing: - Using our internal SEO tools to pull prioritized recommendations and execute them - Implementing technical and on-page SEO improvements directly in Shopify - Collaborating closely with agency leadership on strategy and issue diagnosis - Thinking holistically about brand positioning, site architecture, and search visibility - Communicating clearly and flagging blockers or edge cases proactively This is an ongoing engagement.
