Website: https://mach33media.com/ THE OPPORTUNITY We’re looking for a Shopify Transactional & Shipping Notification Consultant who deeply understands how Shopify handles transactional emails, shipping confirmations, fulfillment events, tracking updates, and shipping notification apps. This is an advisory and knowledge-transfer role, not an execution role. You will not be responsible for building flows, configuring client accounts, or managing client communication. Your main responsibility will be to create clear Loom SOPs and guide our internal team so they understand how Shopify notifications, shipping apps, and Klaviyo post-purchase flows work. WHAT YOU’LL DO Shopify Transactional Email Guidance Create Loom SOPs explaining how Shopify’s native notifications work, including: Order confirmation emails Shipping confirmation emails Out-for-delivery notifications Delivered notifications Fulfillment events Notification settings Tracking status updates Klaviyo Post-Purchase Flow Guidance Explain how equivalent or extended post-purchase and shipping communication can be handled in Klaviyo. This includes: Post-purchase confirmation flows Shipping update flows Delivery follow-up flows Review request flows Shopify to Klaviyo data sync Event triggers and flow logic You should also be able to explain when a notification should stay in Shopify and when it makes sense to use Klaviyo. Shipping App Advisory Guide our team on how shipping and tracking apps integrate with Shopify, including tools like: Parcel Panel Track123 AfterShip Similar shipping/tracking apps You’ll also help us understand the best customer communication sequence from order placed to delivery. Internal Team Support Act as an advisory point of contact for our internal team. You may answer questions through Discord, Loom, written notes, or occasional live calls when clarification is needed. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Experience & Skills Strong hands-on knowledge of Shopify transactional emails and notification settings Deep understanding of Shopify fulfillment events and shipping/tracking updates Experience with shipping/tracking apps like Parcel Panel, Track123, AfterShip, or similar Strong Klaviyo knowledge, especially post-purchase flows, event triggers, and Shopify-Klaviyo sync Ability to explain technical concepts clearly through Loom videos and written SOPs Experience creating documentation, tutorials, or internal training material is preferred How You Work Clear and practical communicator Strong technical understanding Good at simplifying complex systems Comfortable working async Documentation-focused Reliable with deadlines Able to guide a team without needing to execute everything yourself DELIVERABLES You will create Loom SOPs covering: How Shopify native transactional and shipping notifications work How Shopify fulfillment and tracking triggers work How to create equivalent post-purchase/shipping flows in Klaviyo How shipping apps like Parcel Panel, Track123, or AfterShip work with Shopify Recommended post-purchase communication from order placed to delivery You may also provide advisory support for team questions after the SOPs are delivered. OUT OF SCOPE This role does not include: Building flows inside client accounts Configuring Shopify accounts Configuring Klaviyo accounts Setting up shipping apps Managing clients directly Full-time execution work WHY MACH33 You’ll be helping a fast-moving retention marketing team improve how we understand Shopify transactional emails, shipping notifications, tracking apps, and Klaviyo post-purchase communication. If you have deep Shopify, Klaviyo, and shipping notification knowledge and enjoy explaining systems clearly, we’d love to hear from you.
