Shopify and PayPal Dispute Resolution

We are an eCommerce brand operating on Shopify and processing a high volume of orders every month. We are looking for an experienced Chargeback & Dispute Specialist to take ownership of the dispute process and help maximize our chargeback win rate. This is not a customer support role. We need someone who understands chargebacks, reason codes, evidence gathering, and dispute strategy. Responsibilities * Review and manage incoming chargebacks through Shopify Payments and PayPal. * Prepare and submit dispute responses before processor deadlines. * Collect and organize evidence including: * Order details * Tracking information and proof of delivery * Customer communication history * Refund records * Billing and shipping information * Fraud screening data when available * Store policies and terms * Build strong evidence packages tailored to each dispute reason code. * Monitor dispute outcomes and maintain accurate records. * Identify recurring chargeback patterns and recommend prevention strategies. * Coordinate with our team regarding escalations, refunds, and customer resolutions. Requirements * Proven experience handling Shopify Payments chargebacks and PayPal disputes. * Strong understanding of Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal dispute processes. * Experience responding to: * Item Not Received * Unauthorized Transaction * Product Not As Described * Duplicate Transaction * Fraud-related claims * Excellent written English and documentation skills. * Highly organized and able to meet strict deadlines. * Ability to work independently and take ownership of the entire dispute process. Preferred * Experience working with DTC/eCommerce brands. * Familiarity with fraud prevention tools and risk analysis. * Experience with Stripe, Shopify Payments, and PayPal. * Understanding of cross-border shipping and delivery documentation. Commitment *Approximately 2 hours per week. *Long-term ongoing engagement. *Flexible schedule, provided disputes are handled before submission deadlines.
