Shopify specialist - PayPal card integration

Shopify Plus Developer Needed – PayPal Card Payments at Checkout We’re looking for an experienced **Shopify Plus / PayPal developer** to help us properly integrate PayPal’s card payment functionality into our checkout. We currently have PayPal connected to our Shopify store, however we want customers to be able to clearly see and select **credit/debit card payment options directly at checkout**, rather than simply seeing a PayPal button and then discovering the card option after entering PayPal’s checkout flow. From my understanding, PayPal now offers functionality that allows merchants to display PayPal alongside card payment options, potentially using their JavaScript SDK / Advanced Card Payments functionality. What we need We’re looking for someone who can: * Review our existing Shopify Plus checkout and PayPal configuration. * Confirm exactly which PayPal integration is available and appropriate for Shopify Plus. * Integrate PayPal's credit/debit card payment option so that it is clearly visible to customers at checkout. * Ensure the implementation works properly across desktop and mobile. * Ensure the integration follows both **Shopify and PayPal requirements** and does not create issues with PCI compliance or checkout security. * Test the complete payment flow before going live. * Avoid disrupting any of the existing checkout customisations already implemented on the store. This is a **live e-commerce store**, so reliability is extremely important. We are specifically looking for someone who has experience with: * Shopify Plus * Shopify Checkout Extensibility * PayPal integrations * PayPal JavaScript SDK / Advanced Card Payments * Shopify payment gateway limitations and requirements * Custom checkout development When applying Please briefly explain: 1. Whether you have implemented PayPal card payments directly within a Shopify/Shopify Plus checkout before. 2. How you believe this should be implemented given Shopify's current checkout architecture. 3. Whether PayPal's JavaScript SDK / Advanced Card Payments can actually be implemented within Shopify Plus checkout, or whether there is a Shopify-specific approach we need to use. 4. Any similar Shopify Plus or PayPal integrations you've completed. **Please don't apply with a generic Shopify development proposal.** I was considering implementing this myself, but because payments are obviously a critical part of the store, I'd prefer to have someone with specific experience implement and test it properly.
