Shopify web design - Finishing Touches

We're looking for an experienced Shopify developer to help us put the finishing touches on our premium direct-to-consumer brand before launch. The website is 90–95% complete. We already have a detailed checklist of the remaining updates, but we're looking for someone who can go beyond simply checking boxes. We need someone who will review the website as a whole, identify opportunities for improvement, and make recommendations based on best practices for premium Shopify brands. This is not a role for someone who needs constant direction. We're looking for a proactive developer who can think independently, communicate clearly, and deliver polished work with minimal supervision. What You'll Do Complete the remaining website updates from our detailed checklist Review the entire website for consistency, polish, and user experience Identify design inconsistencies, layout issues, spacing problems, mobile responsiveness issues, and conversion opportunities Recommend improvements based on modern Shopify and DTC e-commerce best practices Ensure the site is clean, responsive, and optimized across desktop and mobile Make sure everything is launch-ready What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Has extensive Shopify development experience Has an excellent eye for design and attention to detail Understands premium DTC brands and luxury e-commerce aesthetics Can independently identify issues without being told every detail Communicates clearly and professionally Delivers high-quality work with minimal oversight Takes ownership of the project from start to finish Required Experience Shopify (required) Shopify Theme customization Liquid HTML/CSS JavaScript Responsive/mobile optimization Shopify apps and integrations UX/UI improvements Performance optimization Nice to Have Experience building or optimizing websites for premium consumer brands in industries such as: Baby & maternity Lifestyle Home Wellness Luxury consumer products What We'll Provide A comprehensive checklist of the remaining updates Access to our Shopify store Brand guidelines Product assets and imagery Prompt feedback when needed To Apply Please include: 3–5 Shopify websites you've personally worked on A brief explanation of what you improved on those sites Your favorite premium Shopify website and why The word "BAADL" at the beginning of your proposal so we know you've read the entire posting.
