Short-Form Content / Clipper (Remote VA)

Location: Remote Hours: Part-Time Compensation: Based on experience and output We’re looking for a reliable short-form content editor to join our growing content team. Your primary responsibility will be creating engaging short-form content for social media platforms including Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, and other distribution channels. Unlike traditional clipping roles, most content will be created from a variety of source footage, lifestyle clips, event footage, travel footage, B-roll, trending formats, and content libraries rather than exclusively from long-form podcasts or talking-head videos. Responsibilities: • Create engaging short-form videos from provided content libraries and assets • Identify strong moments, visual sequences, and storytelling opportunities • Add captions, text overlays, music, transitions, and other editing elements when appropriate • Review reference content and replicate successful editing styles • Provide suggested captions, titles, and hashtags when requested • Upload completed content to designated folders • Communicate progress and delivery updates consistently • Meet daily content deadlines Requirements: • Strong short-form editing skills • Understanding of social media retention, hooks, pacing, and storytelling • Experience editing for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Reels • Ability to create engaging content from raw footage and content libraries • Strong communication and responsiveness • Reliable internet connection • Ability to follow SOPs and creative direction Preferred: • Experience creating lifestyle, travel, entrepreneur, business, personal brand, event, or creator-focused content • Familiarity with CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software • Experience recreating viral content formats and reference styles To Apply: Please provide: 1.
