Short-Form Video Editor (Instagram Ads) We're an advertising agency looking for a short-form video editor who can turn raw footage into scroll-stopping ads at volume. This is a high-output role: you'll be cutting around 30 videos per week to test in Instagram ad campaigns. You'll work with raw content that comes in different shapes. Sometimes it's AI-generated footage, sometimes it's self-recorded clips. Your job is to take that material and build ads that grab attention in the first second and keep the viewer watching until the end. What you'll do Edit roughly 30 short-form videos per week for Instagram ad testing Build strong hooks that stop the scroll and earn the first 3 seconds Structure videos for retention so viewers stay until the call to action Work with raw input (AI footage or recorded clips) and shape it into finished ads Add captions, pacing, sound design, and cuts that fit the platform Test variations of hooks and angles so we learn what performs What we're looking for Proven experience editing short-form video for paid social, ideally Instagram or TikTok ads A real understanding of hooks and retention, not just clean cuts Speed without losing quality, since this is a high-volume testing role A proactive mindset. You think along, suggest ideas, and flag what could work better. We're not expecting to hand you a perfect brief every time, so initiative matters Comfortable working with both AI-generated and self-shot raw content Nice to have Familiarity with what makes a paid ad convert versus organic content Your own opinions on trends, formats, and what's working right now If you live in short-form, understand why some videos hold attention and others get skipped, and you can deliver at volume, we'd love to see your work.
