Need to be well versed in the Biblical to understand verses, parables and biblical language What You Will Be Doing As our Short-Form Video Clipper, your primary responsibility is to take our long-form YouTube videos and live streams, identify the most impactful, emotionally resonant, and spiritually engaging moments (30 to 60 seconds), and transform them into polished short-form videos. Specifically, your daily and weekly tasks will include: Content Mining: Reviewing long-form source videos to spot high-retention hooks, powerful quotes, and profound theological or motivational takeaways. Dynamic Editing: Cutting clips with tight pacing, removing dead air, and adding professional dynamic captions (Alex Hormozi-style or clean cinematic styles) that keep viewers glued to the screen. Visual Enhancement: Adding relevant b-roll, stock footage, sound effects (SFX), background music, and subtle visual effects that enhance the emotional and spiritual tone of the message without being distracting. Platform Formatting: Exporting and formatting videos for vertical delivery (9:16 aspect ratio), ensuring optimal framing and safe zones for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Consistency & Delivery: Delivering a steady quota of polished short-form clips each week according to our content calendar. Who We Are Looking For (Requirements) We are looking for someone who not only has top-tier video editing skills but also aligns with the heart and mission of our channel. Faith & Alignment: A deep understanding of and respect for Christian values, Scripture, and church culture. You should be comfortable engaging with Bible teachings, sermons, and faith-based conversations. Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in short-form video editing (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut Pro) with a strong portfolio showcasing viral or high-engagement short-form clips you have edited. Storytelling Instincts: An intuitive eye for identifying "hookable" moments in long-form content that resonate with modern audiences on social media. Technical Proficiency: Mastery of dynamic captioning, fast-paced jump cuts, sound design, color grading, and asset management. Reliability & Communication: Excellent communication skills, responsiveness, and a reliable track record of meeting deadlines.
