**Title: Short-Form Video Director for Roblox Discovery Content** ## Overview We are looking for a creative video director/editor to help build a short-form Roblox discovery content brand. The content style should be heavily inspired by: “Powerful websites you should know” —but focused on: * underrated Roblox games * funny/chaotic Roblox experiences * hidden gems * viral-worthy gameplay This role is NOT just basic editing. You will help: * identify interesting Roblox games * create short-form scripts/hooks * direct the pacing and structure of videos * edit raw gameplay footage into engaging short-form content * collaborate with gameplay recording contractors and work with their submitted footage --- ## Responsibilities ### 1. Select Interesting Roblox Games You should be able to identify: * unique gameplay mechanics * funny/social moments * meme potential * visually engaging gameplay * games that feel surprising or highly shareable We are NOT looking for generic front-page Roblox games. --- ### 2. Create Short-Form Video Concepts You will: * create hooks * structure the video flow * write short caption-driven scripts * determine pacing and visual emphasis The style should resemble: * “Powerful websites you should know” * fast-paced internet-native content * curiosity-driven storytelling --- ### 3. Edit Gameplay Footage You will receive raw gameplay footage from gameplay recording contractors. You will: * review and organize raw footage * identify entertaining moments * trim footage * add captions/text * create fast pacing * add zooms/emphasis * create engaging short-form flow You should also be comfortable working collaboratively with another contractor’s raw gameplay footage and turning it into polished short-form content. Target platforms: * TikTok * YouTube Shorts * Instagram Reels Preferred video length: * 20–45 seconds --- ## Style We’re Looking For We want content that feels: * modern * internet-native * fast * clean * curiosity-driven * slightly chaotic in a good way We do NOT want: * traditional YouTube gaming edits * overly loud reaction editing * corporate-feeling videos --- ## Important Skills You should: * Understand TikTok/Shorts pacing * Know how to hook viewers quickly * Understand meme/internet culture * Be familiar with Roblox * Be comfortable directing content creatively * Be comfortable collaborating with gameplay recorders and editing footage captured by others --- ## Bonus Skills * Experience growing short-form accounts * Strong understanding of retention editing * Ability to identify viral Roblox trends early * Thumbnail/title instincts * Motion graphics experience --- ## Deliverables For each video: * Final edited vertical short-form video * Hook/caption script * Roblox game title + link --- ## To Apply Please include: 1.
