Short-Form Video Editor (Finance/Career Content) — Talking-Head Shorts

I run a fast-growing career-coaching brand that helps students break into investment banking, consulting, and finance. I post short-form talking-head videos (TikTok / Reels / YouTube Shorts) and I'm looking for an editor who doesn't just cut — they have taste. Someone who can look at raw footage and know which 30 seconds will pop. What you'd do: Turn my raw talking-head footage into punchy, retention-optimized shorts (captions, cuts, pacing, hook emphasis) Make the first 1–2 seconds hit — text punch-ins, cutting on the right frame, killing dead air Eventually: repurpose longer takes into multiple shorts across platforms You're a fit if: You've edited short-form for creators (finance/business/education a plus, not required) You understand hooks, retention curves, and why the first second decides everything You have opinions about pacing and caption style — and can defend them You're reliable on turnaround and clean about taking revision notes Logistics: Start: per-project, paid trial.
