Short-Form Video Editor for Education

Short-form video editing (Reels / Shorts / TikTok) for educational content I'm looking for a video editor to create short educational vertical videos about the German language - for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and TikTok. All content is in English, but it also includes on-screen text and infographics in German. Basic English is required. Knowledge of German is not mandatory, but is a plus. Requirements: - A genuine desire to create dynamic, vivid and creative short videos about the German language and German-speaking countries; - A good laptop or PC; - The ability to come up with new ideas, formats and trends and bring them into the videos; - Skills in Adobe Premiere Pro (audio work; color grading; dynamic subtitles and captions; rhythmic editing to music); - Skills in Adobe After Effects at an above-average level (creating simple animations; animating text and subtitles; building simple infographics; working with purchased templates). Our ideal candidate: - Is interested in modern edutainment content and short-form formats; - Has a feel for the rhythm and pace of short video and knows how to grab attention in the first few seconds; - Knows how to highlight the key information and present it nicely (adding captions, video inserts, sound elements, etc.); - Is able to keep a consistent style (uses standardized intros, transitions, fonts, colors, etc.); - Is able to learn and apply new skills; - Understands how Reels, Shorts and TikTok work and which formats take off. What the role is about and what you'll be dealing with: - Editing vertical videos up to 60 seconds long several times a week; - Working with dynamic subtitles, trending transitions and sound; - Working with various presets and templates; - Adapting a single video for Reels, Shorts and TikTok.
