Short-Form Video Editor for Faceless Gaming YouTube Channel (AI Voiceover, Ongoing)
Worldwide
I'm launching a faceless short-form channel (YouTube Shorts focus) in the gaming / "ways to make money in gaming" niche, and I'm looking for a reliable video editor to own the production process end to end. This starts as a per-video gig but is built to become steady, ongoing work for the right person — I want to find one editor and scale with them. What you'll do: 1. Research viral topics — Use proven SOPs/frameworks to find trending angles, hooks, and topics in the gaming and gaming-money space. I'm looking for someone who understands what actually drives views on Shorts, not just guesswork. (If you have your own research process that's gotten videos to pop, even better.) 2. Produce the videos — Assemble clips from game trailers, gameplay, and commentary-style footage, supplemented with AI-generated visuals/B-roll where useful. Strong transformative editing (commentary, original framing, added value) — not straight re-uploads. 3. Edit with AI voiceover — Write or refine tight scripts, generate a clean AI voiceover (ElevenLabs or similar), and edit for retention: punchy hooks in the first 2 seconds, fast pacing, animated captions, sound design, and a clear CTA. Must-haves: 1. Proven short-form editing experience — please share 2–3 samples of faceless Shorts/Reels/TikToks you've edited (gaming or "make money" niche is a big plus). 2. Fluent with a pro editor (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) and animated/auto-caption styling. 3. Hands-on with AI voiceover tools (ElevenLabs preferred) and comfortable using AI tools for scripting and B-roll generation (e.g. ChatGPT/Claude, Runway, Kling, Midjourney). Understanding of YouTube Shorts retention mechanics and what makes a hook work. Self-directed — can take a topic and deliver a finished, ready-to-upload video with minimal back-and-forth. Nice-to-haves: - Genuine interest in or knowledge of gaming culture. - Thumbnail design and basic title/packaging instincts. - Familiarity with repurposing tools (Opus Clip, etc.). To apply: - Link 2–3 relevant samples (the more they match this niche, the better). - Tell me your turnaround time per video and your rate (per video or hourly — your call). - Briefly: what's your process for finding a viral topic and hooking a viewer in the first 3 seconds? Logistics: Looking to start with a small test batch, then move to a consistent weekly volume. Tell me how many videos/week you can comfortably handle at a high standard.
