Short Form Video Editor Wanted (Fast Turnaround, Soowei Style) We're a YouTube content agency looking for a skilled video editor to join our team on an ongoing basis. We work with clients across multiple niches and produce high-volume, high-quality content that gets views. What we're looking for: We need an editor who understands the Soowei editing style: strong pacing, intentional b-roll usage, music that enhances the story rather than distracts from it, and an instinct for what keeps viewers watching. If you've studied what makes YouTube content go viral and you can replicate that in your own edits, you're who we're looking for. Requirements: - Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (this is non-negotiable) - Strong understanding of pacing — you know when to cut, when to breathe, and when to push - Experience selecting and syncing music to match the energy of the content - Ability to source and use b-roll effectively - Fast turnaround — we need 3 to 4 videos completed per day - Detail-oriented and thorough — you catch your own mistakes before we do - Willing to learn, take feedback, and adapt to each client's style - Consistent communicator who meets deadlines without being chased Compensation: Our base rate is $3–5 per hour. We're also open to negotiating a flat rate per video or a fixed monthly rate for a set number of deliverables — whatever structure works best for the right person.
