Short-Form Video Researcher — Find Trending Content on Cost Reduction & Efficiency

Posted 2 weeks ago

Worldwide

Summary

About us We're an AI-driven consultancy working with private equity firms and owner-led mid-sized companies. Our content theme is cost reduction and efficiency improvement. The way some firms anchor everything they post to "innovation," we anchor to making businesses leaner and more efficient. We're building a steady pipeline of social content and need a sharp researcher to feed it. What you'll do You'll search LinkedIn, X, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels to find 5 to 10 great short-form videos each time, all about cost reduction and efficiency. We care most about speed and relevance, so spend about 15 minutes per batch. We'll look over what you find, share feedback, and keep the process moving quickly. We're looking for someone who wants an ongoing, fast-paced collaboration, not just a one-time gig. What makes a good find (read this carefully) We're not looking for IT or "tech tips" videos. We want content built around the concept of cutting waste, doing more with less, streamlining, or smart resource use, ideally in everyday, non-technical contexts (operations, nature, sports, manufacturing, cooking, logistics, history, etc.). The reason: we turn these into analogies for our own services. So a 30-second clip on how a Formula 1 pit crew shaved seconds off a tire change is gold; a generic "5 software tools to save money" video is not. Think: would this clip make a strong analogy or hook for a post about helping a company become more efficient? If yes, grab it. What works: - Engaging, short videos. - With overlay texts/diagrams explaining what the video is about. - Focused on efficiency increase/cost reduction. - Not evergreen content, not necessarily tied to technology/IT. What doesn't work: - Long form videos (they should be short, if possible, below 60 seconds) - Videos with promotions from other pages/profiles (or watermarks). - Individuals speaking about a topic. - Tech tips, kind of videos, "top 10 best tools", conference cuts, or keynotes. Deliverable format (per batch) A simple list (Google Sheet or doc) with, for each piece: * Direct link + platform * One line on what it's about * One line on why it fits / the analogy angle you see What we're looking for * Comfortable navigating LinkedIn, X, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram * Strong instinct for what's conceptually interesting vs. literally on-topic * Fast, reliable, and able to follow feedback to refine future batches * Clear written English To apply Please don't send a generic proposal. Instead, send us 2 or 3 example links right now (any of the four platforms) of short-form videos you think fit the brief above, and one sentence each on the analogy you'd draw. We'll prioritize applicants who do this, since it tells us more than a résumé.
