Coast to Cabin Partners is building a premium short-term rental performance company serving STR owners and investors. Our core services include Revenue Management, Marketing, Operations, and Bookkeeping. We are looking for an experienced Short-Term Rental Bookkeeper who can initially help us build and test our bookkeeping process using properties we control, with the opportunity to become a long-term bookkeeping partner as our client portfolio grows. This is not a generic data-entry bookkeeping role. We are specifically looking for someone who understands the accounting and reporting needs of short-term rental owners. RESPONSIBILITIES • Monthly bookkeeping for individual STR properties and multi-property portfolios • Airbnb and Vrbo payout reconciliation • Bank and credit-card reconciliation • Proper categorization of property income and expenses • Cleaning, maintenance, utilities, supplies, management fees, platform fees, and other STR-specific expenses • Property-level and portfolio-level Profit & Loss reporting • Tracking owner contributions, reimbursements, and property-specific expenses • Identifying discrepancies or missing transactions • Month-end close • Producing clean monthly financial reports for property owners • Helping develop a standardized Coast to Cabin bookkeeping and reporting process • Working with our team as the client portfolio grows We want owners to receive reporting that is easy to understand and clearly shows the financial performance of each property rather than simply receiving raw accounting statements. EXPERIENCE WE VALUE • Short-term rental / vacation-rental bookkeeping • Airbnb and Vrbo accounting • QuickBooks Online • Hospitable, Guesty, OwnerRez, Hostaway, or similar PMS experience • Multi-property bookkeeping • Property-level class/location tracking • Owner reporting • STR management-company accounting is a major plus This role could grow significantly as Coast to Cabin adds properties. Have you worked with STR management companies or co-hosting businesses in addition to individual property owners? 8. Are you comfortable working behind the Coast to Cabin brand and following our standardized reporting format and SOPs? 9. Do you personally perform the bookkeeping, or would another member of your team perform the work? 10. What would you charge per property per month once the bookkeeping process is standardized?
