Short-Form Editor (Kumar Style) I’m looking for a short-form video editor who can create highly engaging YouTube Shorts, TikToks, and Instagram Reels similar to Kumar’s editing style. The editor should understand retention-focused editing, dynamic captions, motion graphics, sound design, zooms, pacing, and visual storytelling that keeps viewers engaged from start to finish. They should be able to take my raw footage and transform it into polished content while also sourcing relevant news clips, screenshots, charts, and supporting visuals when appropriate. The editor should also be capable of creating realistic AI-generated photos of me for visual storytelling and creative sequences, but all actual video footage should remain authentic footage of me rather than AI-generated video. Long-Form Editor (Ali Abdaal / Iman Gadzhi / Andrei Jikh Style) I’m looking for a long-form YouTube editor who can produce premium, high-retention content similar to the style of Ali Abdaal, Iman Gadzhi, and Andrei Jikh. The editor should have strong storytelling skills and be proficient in motion graphics, visual explanations, B-roll integration, sound design, and YouTube retention strategies. They should be able to use my footage as the foundation of each video while incorporating relevant news clips, stock footage, charts, screenshots, animations, and custom graphics when needed. Experience editing finance, investing, business, or educational content is strongly preferred, with the goal of creating polished, professional videos that keep viewers engaged while delivering valuable insights. Pricing Details; For each long form I am planning on offering $70 per (long form for me means roughly 7-20 ish minutes typically), keep in mind these videos do still require a lot of motion graphics but the intro is what will be more so focused on as you will notice in examples, but to be clear motion graphics will be required throughout. Short term videos will be $30 per video, these will be roughly 20-50 seconds, but they need to have dense editing, roughly every second is edited. If that works for you please let me know. Obviously I want someone with experience, I know large people in the YouTube game with thousands of followers paying their editors roughly $100-200, so I think $70 is very fair starting price. If I get to the point where I have 5000+ followers on any of the platforms, which based on Kumar’s growth can happen fairly easily with good editing, you will get a pay raise. This job will come with incentives pay wise for performance of channel, so editing good for me, means you’ll make more and more money. I know some people may do fixed prices that never change, but I believe this is more fair for all editors and gives you all an “investment” into the channel. I will be requiring a trial edit, most likely. I will, however, probably keep it as a short, so in case the editing styles don’t match you didn’t have to edit a very long video.
