Sign Language Interpreter (ASL / BSL) – Freelance, As-Needed

We're looking for a skilled sign language interpreter to join us on a freelance basis for occasional work. This is a flexible, low-volume engagement — perfect for someone who takes on select projects alongside other commitments. **What you'll do:** • Review our existing sign language content and provide feedback on accuracy, clarity, and naturalness • Interpret/translate short videos into sign language (recorded, not live) • Flag any phrasing that may be culturally or linguistically off **Who we're looking for:** • Proficient in ASL (American Sign Language) • Other sign language proficiencies are also welcome to apply • Experience in interpretation, translation, or accessibility-related work preferred • Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable giving constructive feedback • Able to turn around work within agreed timeframes **Engagement details:** • Freelance / as-needed (no set hours) • Remote • Paid per project or per hour — open to discussion If this sounds like a good fit, please apply with a brief note about your sign language background and any relevant experience.
