Signage Graphics Designer for Sign Company

We are seeking an experienced Signage Graphics Designer to support our shop with production-ready artwork. This role requires true sign industry experience — not general graphic design or marketing work. Responsibilities - Create sign proofs and production files (to scale, accurate, print-ready/cut-ready). - Work with various signage types: dimensional letters, monument signs, wall signs, wayfinding, ADA, vinyl graphics, etc. - Revise designs based on feedback and meet tight deadlines. Requirements - 5+ years of hands-on sign design experience. - Strong skills in FlexiSIGN, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop. - Solid understanding of sign materials, substrates, and fabrication methods. - Must be available to receive project requests and begin work the same business day during U.S. Eastern Time hours. - Must be available via email/messaging throughout U.S. Eastern Time business hours. - Must be available for scheduled video or phone calls during U.S. Eastern Time business hours with at least one day’s notice. Workflow - Company sends a design request. - Designer sends all questions the same day. - Designer provides a time estimate before starting any work (e.g., “First draft will take 2.5 hours”). - Work begins only after written approval of the estimated hours. - First draft due the next business day unless otherwise agreed. - Deliverables to be delivered in Flexi and Illustrator formats. Compensation - Hourly rate based on experience. - Payment released upon approval of hours and deliverables.
