Small Apartment Interior Designer | Smart Storage & Family Space Planning

We are a family of four living in a 70 m², 3-room apartment in Berlin. We have two children aged 1.5 and 6, and we are looking for an experienced interior designer or space planning expert to help us make our apartment more functional, organized, and family-friendly. Our goal is not luxury interior design. We are looking for practical, smart, and easy-to-implement solutions that improve our daily life. We already have most of our furniture and would like to use it effectively. However, we are open to buying simple additional furniture or storage items from IKEA or similar stores if they significantly improve functionality. We need support with: * Optimizing the layout of our existing furniture * Creating smart storage solutions throughout the apartment * Designing a shared children’s room for two kids, including sleeping, playing, and study areas * Adding practical shelving and storage in the children’s room * Improving the hallway/entrance with better shoe, coat, and everyday storage * Making the bedroom also work as a practical home office * Identifying layout and storage ideas that we may not have considered We can provide: * Floor plan * Photos and videos of the apartment * Measurements * List/photos of existing furniture Expected deliverables: * Layout suggestions * Storage and shelving ideas * Furniture placement recommendations * IKEA or similar product suggestions where needed * Practical, family-friendly solutions that are easy to implement Experience with small apartments, family homes, children’s rooms, and smart storage solutions is highly preferred.
