Smart Contract Developer (Solidity / Web3)

We build secure, scalable blockchain applications including DeFi platforms, NFT marketplaces, tokenization solutions, crypto wallets, decentralized applications (dApps), and smart contract systems across leading blockchain networks. We're looking for an experienced Smart Contract Developer to join our remote engineering team and help build next-generation blockchain products. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy secure Solidity smart contracts. Build and maintain decentralized applications (dApps). Develop ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, and custom token standards. Integrate smart contracts with frontend and backend applications using Web3 libraries. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and smart contract optimization. Conduct security reviews and follow smart contract best practices. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers. Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning. Troubleshoot production issues and improve blockchain application performance. Keep up to date with emerging blockchain technologies and industry standards. Required Skills 3+ years of professional software development experience. 2+ years of Solidity smart contract development. Strong understanding of Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). Experience with Hardhat or Foundry. Experience using OpenZeppelin Contracts. Knowledge of smart contract security, gas optimization, and upgradeable contracts. Experience with Git and GitHub. Familiarity with REST APIs and Web3 integration. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Comfortable working in a remote, collaborative environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with DeFi protocols. Experience building NFT marketplaces. Knowledge of Layer 2 networks (Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon). Experience with wallet integrations (MetaMask, WalletConnect). Smart contract audit experience. Understanding of cross-chain protocols. Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Nice to Have Experience with Hyperledger or enterprise blockchain. Familiarity with Rust or Solana development. Knowledge of Chainlink oracles. Experience working in Agile teams. Open-source blockchain contributions. Project Type Long-term Remote Contract (30–40 hours/week) Opportunity to transition into an ongoing engagement based on performance.
