AV & Smart Home/Commercial Systems Designer – Networking, Home Theater, Conference Rooms & More

We are a Dallas-based AV and smart home/commercial integration company looking for a skilled designer to help plan and design complex installation jobs across our full range of services. We need someone who can create detailed job designs, system layouts, and equipment plans for the following services: Residential Services: - Custom Home Theater Installation (projectors, screens, surround sound, seating layout, acoustic treatment) - Home Audio System Installation (multi-room/zone audio distribution, speaker placement, amplifier selection) - TV Wall Mount Installation (single and gallery wall configurations, cable concealment, stud/structural considerations) - Smart Home Installation Services (device integration, automation scenes, app control setup) - Smart Thermostat Installation (zoning, HVAC compatibility, smart scheduling) - Smart Door Lock Installation (keypad, Z-Wave/Zigbee, access control integration) - Video Doorbell Installation (wiring, PoE vs. wireless, integration with NVR/smart home) - Surveillance Camera Installation (camera placement, field of view planning, NVR/DVR layout, cabling runs) - Networking Installation Services in Dallas (structured cabling, Wi-Fi access point placement, switch/router configuration) Commercial Services: - Conference Room Installation (display/projector selection, audio conferencing, control systems, cable management) - Video Wall Installation (tiling, processor selection, mounting structure, content source distribution) - TV Mounting for Commercial Spaces (lobby, restaurant, retail signage) - Commercial Audio System Installation (background music, paging, zone control) - Commercial Networking Installation (PoE switches, access points, rack/patch panel design, VLAN planning) - LUMOplay Installation in Dallas (interactive display/projection systems) - Commercial Automation & Control System Installation (Crestron, Control4, or similar platform design) The ideal candidate will have experience designing AV and low-voltage systems for both residential and commercial projects, including structured wiring plans, equipment schedules, signal flow diagrams, and installation documentation.
