Summary

Hello! My name is Brett David, and I'm creating a television travel docuseries called Destination Dance. Destination Dance follows my journey around the world to discover the best social partner dance nights. Through local guides, dance lessons, and personal stories, each episode explores how dance builds community, creates human connection, and transforms lives. Our pilot was filmed in Medellín, Colombia, and I'm looking for an exceptional editor to create a 3–5 minute sizzle reel that I will use to pitch the series to television production companies. If the collaboration goes well, I would love to continue working together to edit the entire pilot episode, with the potential for future episodes as the series grows. About the Footage - Sony FX3 + Sony A7S III footage - Three-camera production - Separate audio - Interviews primarily in Spanish - Large amount of footage to organize and work through - Cinematic travel documentary style Because many interviews are in Spanish, being bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred. The Style I'm looking for someone who can create something that feels cinematic, emotional, and premium—not a YouTube vlog. Think: - Travel documentary - Netflix-style pacing - Edited to music - Strong storytelling - Emotional moments - High-energy dance sequences - Creative use of interviews and B-roll I already have a detailed outline and narration script for the sizzle (attached). I'm looking for an editor who can elevate the story creatively, not simply assemble clips. I'm excited to find someone who wants to help build something special!
