Social Media Ads Designer

I run a UK-based pottery tools brand selling specialist tools for potters, beginners, teachers and hobby makers. I’m looking for a freelance designer/video editor to help create ad creative for ongoing Meta campaigns. This is not an ads manager role. I will continue to manage the campaigns, targeting, budgets and performance analysis. The role is focused on creating the actual ads: short video ads, static ads, carousel graphics, hooks, captions, overlays and creative variations for testing. The role will initially be for a single video retargetting ad and we'll go from there with the right candidate. So quote for the production of a single ad initially. The ideal person will be confident with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator, and will have a good understanding of marketing principles for creating ads that work on Facebook and Instagram. The products are practical pottery tools, so the ads need to quickly show the problem, demonstrate the tool, explain the benefit and feel authentic to potters. I’m looking for creative that is clear, practical and effective — not generic, overly corporate or flashy for the sake of it. Typical work may include editing product demo footage, creating 15–30 second video ads, producing shorter hook variations, adding captions and text overlays, creating static graphics, and resizing assets for different Meta placements. Experience with ecommerce, product demonstration ads, UGC-style creative, craft brands, tools, education or maker communities would be a bonus.
