As we continue to expand our reach, we’re looking for a proactive and creative Social Media Assistant to join our team and help elevate our brand presence. Job Description: We are seeking a proactive Social Media Assistant who can think strategically, take initiative, and drive meaningful engagement across social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. In this role, you’ll work closely with the brand team to create engaging content, foster community interaction, and develop impactful collaborations with influencers in the home and lifestyle space. Responsibilities: - Content Creation: Develop and curate engaging posts, stories, and videos that showcase Cosmo Appliances products and brand identity. - Scheduling & Publishing: Manage the content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posts across social media channels. - Campaign Execution: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that align with company objectives and promotions. - Influencer Outreach: Identify, research, and connect with influencers and brand ambassadors who align with our brand values and target audience. - SEO Content: Write blog posts and landing page copy for the company website to support SEO and storytelling efforts. - Trend Awareness: Stay informed on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices, proactively implementing new ideas. What We’re Looking For: - Proactivity: A self-starter who can think independently, take initiative, and drive projects forward without constant oversight. - Experience: 2-3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing. - Platform Expertise: Proficiency in Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, as well as tools like Hootsuite or Buffer. - Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey our brand messaging effectively. - Creativity: A passion for storytelling and creating visually compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences. - Organization: Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Influencer Marketing: Experience in identifying, vetting, and managing influencer collaborations. - Typing Speed: At least 50 WPM (REQUIRED). Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM – 6 PM PST (Pacific Standard Time).
