Summary

I am the manager of an established DJ and producer currently executing a full re-launch with an aggressive release schedule. We are looking for an experienced social media content creator and manager who has worked specifically with music artists — DJs, producers, or bands — and understands how to build an artist brand and grow an audience across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. This is not a general social media management role. If your experience is primarily with lifestyle brands, e-commerce, restaurants, or non-music clients this is not the right fit. Music artist experience is required. While experience working with electronic music artists, DJs, or producers is a strong advantage and will be weighted heavily in our evaluation, we welcome applications from any candidate with a proven track record managing social media for music artists across any genre. What matters most is that you understand the music release cycle, know how to build an artist audience, and can produce content that connects with fans. WHAT WE NEED CONTENT CREATION Creation of videos, graphics, short-form reels, and posts for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Content must be high quality, visually consistent, and match a dark, cinematic, minimal aesthetic. Reference points for the visual world we are building are Anyma, ARTBAT, Massano, and Tale of Us. If you are not familiar with these artists please look them up before applying — their visual identity is the benchmark. PLATFORM MANAGEMENT Management of posting schedule across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. This includes captions, hashtags, engagement, community management, and content calendars. We are releasing one track every 6 to 8 weeks and each release requires a full content campaign covering pre-release build up, release week, and post-release follow through. PAID AD MANAGEMENT Management of paid advertising campaigns on Meta and TikTok per release cycle. Experience with music-specific ad campaigns targeting the right audience demographics is required. REPORTING Monthly reporting on growth, engagement, content performance, and ad results against agreed KPIs. We measure results and expect clear, specific data in every report. WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR IN YOUR APPLICATION Do not apply with a generic pitch. I will only respond to applications that address the following specifically: What music artists have you managed social media for? Please provide named examples with links to their profiles and specific growth outcomes you delivered — follower growth, engagement rates, video views, and any streaming growth tied to your content campaigns. If you have worked with electronic music artists or DJs please highlight those examples first. Share portfolio examples of content you have created that matches a dark, cinematic, or high concept visual aesthetic. If you have worked with electronic music artists or DJs specifically please highlight those examples. Do you have experience running paid ad campaigns on Meta and TikTok specifically for music releases? What were the outcomes in terms of streams, followers, or engagement growth? What does your content creation workflow look like on a consistent 6 to 8 week release schedule? How many pieces of content do you deliver per release cycle and across which platforms? What is your fee structure for ongoing monthly social media content creation and management at this scope? What does your reporting look like — how often, and what specific metrics do you cover? IMPORTANT This is a long term engagement for the right person. We are not looking for a one-off project or a trial run. We are building a team and the right candidate becomes a core part of it on an ongoing basis. The visual aesthetic requirement is non-negotiable.
