We're looking for an Australian-based, strategically minded, creative content lead to help build one of Australia's most-loved baby brands. This role is all about storytelling, bringing the brand to life, and emotionally connecting our products and the realities of modern parenthood into content that genuinely resonates across both organic social and paid. You'll capture real moments and turn them into stories that connect. As our Social Media & Content Lead, we're after strong creative instincts, a hands-on producer's skillset, a performance and growth mindset, and the drive to take real responsibility from day one, someone who can brief, shoot, edit and manage creators to finished assets, and who lives in the platforms with sharp judgement on trends, storytelling and what actually converts. This is a real opportunity to become a key player in the brand, with plenty of scope to drive brand direction. What you will own: Content production (the engine): • Set the creative direction for the brand across short- and long-form content • Storytelling & narrative: turn real founder, product and parenthood moments into compelling, on-brand stories that convert • End-to-end creation: capture, edit, publish and evolve; shoot/direct (self-shot and coordinated) and edit to a premium, platform-native finish, fast • Real-time content: capture in the moment during travel, events and behind-the-scenes • Paid + organic creative: produce and version content for both organic channels and paid ads (Meta/TikTok); keep a content bank stocked, and ad creative refreshing and testing • Manage creators to finish content: source, brief and manage UGC creators/videographers; turn raw footage into delivery-ready assets to brand standard • Managing content files, assets and workflows Social strategy: • Platform strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube (long-form) • Trend expert: across trends, formats, sounds and what's converting now; move fast on what's relevant to Cushii • Channel ownership: own the organic strategy and calendar; posting, captions, community & DM management; grow reach, engagement and follower quality • Experimentation and refinement based on performance and audience response • Influencer & seeding: manage product gifting and creator collaborations within budget Who this is for: • A strategically minded content creator with an aligned aesthetic, looking for the opportunity to grow and develop • Someone already creating consistently, for themselves, a brand or a founder • Experience managing UGC creators from brief to finished asset • Experience producing content for both organic and paid • Strong instincts for storytelling, pacing and emotional hooks • Comfortable learning quickly, taking feedback and improving in real time • Energised by working closely with a founder and being part of real decisions • Organised, proactive and able to manage momentum independently • A growth mindset and the drive to take real responsibility from day one • A premium aesthetic, sharp copy, and the autonomy to run the function for a lean, founder-led brand We care more about a strong visual eye, initiative and the ability to think strategically than years of experience. Skills & tools: • Confident editing video (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut or similar) • Clear understanding of platform-specific content, particularly Instagram and TikTok • Comfortable producing both short-form and long-form video • Familiar with Canva or simple design tools for quick visual assets • Bonus: familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo and Meta Ads Manager (or keen to learn) What success looks like: • A reliable weekly/monthly volume of finished reels + ad creative (agree target on start) • A managed creator pipeline delivering on-brief, on-time • Growing, engaged organic channels and an always-stocked content bank so paid and organic never run dry How to apply: Send a short intro, your portfolio/reels you've produced and edited, examples of creators you've managed and channels you've grown, and your weekly availability and rate.
