Social Media Content Manager for a Productivity App About Our App Our App is a growing scheduling and productivity platform helping individuals and teams manage their time more effectively. We're building our brand presence across social media and looking for a talented content manager to help shape our voice and grow our audience. About the role This is an on-call, hourly engagement — not a full-time position. We'll call on you when we need content created, campaigns launched, or community managed. Ideal for a freelancer who thrives on flexible, project-based work. We already have a short-form video editor on the team, so this role is focused on strategy, copywriting, and community management. What you'll do - Create engaging, on-brand content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, and Reddit - Write compelling short-form video scripts and captions tailored to each platform's audience (our video editor handles the production side) - Schedule and publish posts using social media management tools - Monitor and engage with comments, DMs, and community discussions - Track performance metrics and provide brief reports on reach, engagement, and growth - Stay on top of trends, viral formats, and platform algorithm changes What we're looking for - Proven experience managing social media accounts with measurable growth (please share examples or portfolio) - Expert-level knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, and Reddit — their cultures, formats, and best practices - Strong copywriting skills — you know how to write captions that convert and hooks that stop the scroll - Deep understanding of short-form video content strategy and what makes TikToks and Reels perform - Responsive and available on-call — able to turn around content quickly when needed - Experience with a SaaS, tech, or productivity brand is a plus To apply Please include links to social accounts you've managed, examples of content you've created, and a brief note on your approach to growing an audience for a new brand.
