Social Media Content Manager for YouTube Shorts & TikTok

Summary We are looking for a reliable social media content manager to help manage, review, schedule, and publish short-form video content for Cathouse Club across platforms like YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and potentially Instagram Reels. This role is focused on taking completed short-form clips from our video clipping specialist, performing a final quality and compliance check, and making sure the content is properly uploaded, scheduled, titled, tagged, and published in a way that fits each platform. We need someone who understands basic social media content management, short-form platform best practices, and the importance of ensuring content does not violate YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram guidelines. What We Need You will be responsible for managing the publishing workflow for 3–5 short-form videos per week. The videos will already be edited, but you will need to review them before posting to make sure they are ready for public release. This includes checking captions, formatting, audio, visual quality, platform compliance, titles, descriptions, hashtags, and scheduling. This is not primarily a video editing role, but light edits or basic adjustments may occasionally be needed if something minor must be fixed before posting. Responsibilities - Review completed short-form video clips before publishing - Perform final quality control on video, subtitles, audio, pacing, and overall presentation - Make sure content is appropriate for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels - Check that videos do not violate platform rules, copyright policies, music/audio restrictions, or community guidelines - Upload and schedule videos across YouTube, TikTok, and potentially Instagram - Write or refine titles, captions, descriptions, and hashtags - Make sure each post is optimized for the specific platform - Maintain a consistent posting schedule - Track what content has been posted, scheduled, or still needs review - Communicate any issues with the video editor or project lead before publishing - Monitor basic post performance when needed - Help maintain a consistent brand voice and social media presence for Cathouse Club Ideal Candidate You should be someone who: - Has experience posting and managing content on YouTube Shorts and TikTok - Understands basic short-form video platform trends and best practices - Knows how to write simple but effective titles, captions, descriptions, and hashtags - Understands platform safety, copyright, music usage, and community guideline concerns - Can identify content that may need review before being posted publicly - Is organized and able to manage a simple content schedule - Can work independently and follow a repeatable posting workflow - Has basic familiarity with gaming, streaming, entertainment, or creator content - Understands internet culture, memes, and short-form video presentation - Has strong attention to detail and can catch small mistakes before content goes live Tools You may use any tools you prefer for scheduling, content tracking, social media management, or workflow organization. Examples may include YouTube Studio, TikTok Studio, Meta Business Suite, Google Sheets, Notion, Trello, Buffer, Later, Metricool, or other social media scheduling tools.
