Social Media Content Repurposer for Crime-Comedy Book Launch

We are preparing to launch the second book in our adult crime-comedy novel series, *Men Will Be Boys Part Two*, in about four months. We are looking for a social media content repurposer / content creator who can take existing book material and turn it into strong social media content for Instagram and TikTok. This is not a full marketing strategy job. We already have a separate role for launch campaign planning. This role is focused on content creation and repurposing. The goal is to help make the book series more visible before launch by creating posts, captions, short-form video ideas, carousel ideas, and simple content concepts using the existing world of the book. **About the book series:** Men Will Be Boys is an adult fiction series with a Las Vegas crime-comedy tone. It has strong characters, dark humor, friendship, betrayal, messy relationships, thriller elements, and cinematic energy. We need someone who can understand the tone and create content that feels entertaining, sharp, funny, dramatic, and book-world specific — not generic author content. **What we need for the first project:** Please create a sample social media content pack for the series. The sample pack should include: 1. 5 social media captions 2. 3 Instagram carousel post concepts 3. 3 TikTok/Reel short-form video ideas 4. 2 simple Canva-style graphic concepts 5. 1 sample weekly content calendar 6. Suggestions for how to turn characters, quotes, scenes, and book themes into repeatable content **Examples of content we are interested in:** * Character-based posts * “Which character are you?” style posts * Quote graphics * Short dramatic teaser captions * Funny/dark humor captions * Book One reminder posts * Book Two countdown posts * Vegas crime-comedy themed content * Behind-the-scenes author content * Meme-style content that still fits the brand * Carousel posts introducing the characters or conflict **Important context:** The book already has characters, scenes, a quiz/freebie, a landing page, and Book One available. We are not asking you to create the brand from scratch. We need someone who can take existing material and make it usable for social media. If the sample pack is strong, this may lead to ongoing monthly work through the launch. **Ideal candidate:** * Experience creating Instagram/TikTok content * Strong caption writing ability * Comfortable with Canva and/or CapCut * Understands short-form content and social media hooks * Can create content from existing material instead of needing everything built from scratch * Bonus if you have worked with authors, books, entertainment brands, comedy, fiction, or character-driven content **To apply, please include:** 1.
