Social Media Platform & Community Growth Specialists Project-Based / Consultant Role | Remote About Us EnsuranceMax is a licensed insurance agency authorized to operate in Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., Ohio, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. Our content creation and social media management team is based in the Philippines. We are currently expanding our digital presence to better serve multicultural communities across our covered states. Our client base includes diverse ethnic and language-based communities, including Chinese, Korean, Spanish-speaking, Indian, Vietnamese, Filipino, Arabic-speaking, and other multicultural groups. Role Overview We are looking for experienced social media platform specialists who can help us understand, improve, and grow our presence across specific platforms. We understand that one person may not be an expert in every platform. We are open to working with multiple specialists, each with strong knowledge of one or more platforms, such as: Meta / Facebook / Instagram TikTok YouTube X / Twitter LinkedIn KakaoTalk WeChat WhatsApp Other platforms commonly used by specific ethnic, language, or immigrant communities in the United States This is not just a posting or content creation role. We are looking for people who deeply understand how specific platforms work, how audiences behave, how algorithms affect reach, and how to build local community engagement that can turn into followers, conversations, referrals, and qualified leads. Current Setup We have created language-specific social media pages across platforms. These pages represent 13 languages: Spanish Chinese Korean Hindi Vietnamese French Arabic Portuguese Russian Filipino / Tagalog Indonesian Malay English Our goal is to develop these pages into local community-based channels for ethnic groups within our licensed states. Business Goal Our long-term goal is to expand our client pool across multicultural communities within Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., Ohio, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. We want to use social media to build “communities within communities” where people can exchange leads, support local businesses, share useful resources, and eventually connect with our insurance agency when they need help with coverage. We are looking at this as a growth strategy, not a short-term campaign only. Current Challenges We have already tried several strategies, including: Using VPNs to geo-align account activity Posting with local hashtags such as RockvilleInsurance, MarylandInsurance, and RockvilleMD Pinning locations such as Rockville, MD Publishing language-specific content for different communities However, some of our viewers are still coming from countries where those languages are spoken, instead of the local U.S. states we are targeting. Our team is still at the beginner level when it comes to platform strategy. We need expert guidance on how to properly reach the right local audience, increase engagement, grow followers, and generate leads from the correct geographic market. What We Need Help With We are looking for specialists who can help us with one or more of the following: Platform Strategy Explain how the platform works Identify what affects reach, visibility, and engagement Recommend the best posting, engagement, and growth strategies Local Audience Targeting Help us reach ethnic and language-based communities within our covered U.S. states Recommend better ways to avoid attracting only international viewers Guide us on hashtags, location signals, groups, communities, keywords, and audience behavior Community Growth Recommend how to build trust and engagement in multicultural communities Identify the right type of content for each platform and audience Help us understand how to move from content posting to actual conversations, referrals, and leads Platform-Specific Training Teach our marketing and social media team how to use the platform properly Explain best practices in a clear and practical way Share examples, workflows, and recommendations Documentation Help us document your strategy, process, and recommendations Turn your knowledge into a guide or standard operating procedure that our team can follow Create a repeatable process for future social media management Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate has: Proven experience growing pages, communities, or accounts on one or more social media platforms Strong understanding of platform algorithms, engagement behavior, and audience targeting Experience with local market targeting, especially in the United States Experience reaching ethnic, immigrant, language-based, or multicultural communities is a strong advantage Ability to explain strategy clearly to a beginner-level team Ability to create or support documentation, guides, checklists, or SOPs Practical experience generating engagement, followers, inquiries, referrals, or leads from social media Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is preferred but not required: Insurance, financial services, real estate, mortgage, legal, healthcare, or local service industries Multilingual or multicultural marketing U.S.-based community marketing Facebook Groups, WeChat communities, KakaoTalk groups, WhatsApp communities, or similar community-based platforms Local SEO, geo-targeted content, or location-based audience growth Social media training or consulting Expected Output We are not only hiring someone to “do the work.” We want to learn from your expertise. The expected output may include: Platform audit Growth strategy Local targeting recommendations Content and engagement recommendations Community-building roadmap Training session with our team Written guide, SOP, checklist, or playbook Recommendations for tools, tracking, and KPIs Project Type This can be structured as: One-time consultation Platform audit Training project SOP/playbook creation Ongoing advisory support Platform-specific growth project We are open to hiring multiple specialists depending on platform expertise.
