Social Media Inbox Manager / VA – Mental Health Brand

Emotional Badass is a mental health brand built by a licensed therapist and her husband. We're looking for a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to manage our Instagram and Facebook inboxes in Meta Business Suite. This is not a copy-paste, script-only role. Our audience trusts us because we sound human — thoughtful, warm, and real — never robotic or "customer service." You'll need excellent written English and genuine judgment about tone. What you'll do: -Monitor and respond to Instagram/Facebook DMs and comments daily -Reply directly to general inquiries, comments, and messages that don't require the leadership team's input, in a warm, on-brand voice -Recognize and flag messages that need the leadership team's personal attention (media/partnership requests, sensitive personal disclosures, complaints, etc.) -Immediately escalate (without attempting a reply) any message involving crisis language -Keep a simple log of flagged/escalated conversations -Maintain confidentiality around anything shared in DMs Requirements: 1. Excellent written English fluency — this role is judged on tone and nuance, not just grammar 2. Previous experience with Meta Business Suite / Instagram & Facebook inbox management 3. Comfortable with a mental-health-adjacent brand; no clinical background required, but maturity and discretion are a must 4. Reliable daily availability (we'll confirm expected hours/turnaround in interview) 5.
