Social Media Manager — Audio-Only Yoga Subscription Platform
Worldwide
About us: Yogaudio is a subscription audio-only yoga platform — no video, no screen, just expert-led classes you listen to. Our instructor, Megan Rader, runs a yoga studio in Michigan and has trained other yoga teachers in her own audio-first cueing methodology. We're in beta with our first batch of users and gearing up to grow. We're a small, lean team building something different in a crowded wellness space. We need someone who can own our social presence so we can focus on the product and the practice. What you'll do: Own our social presence across the channels that make sense for a subscription brand at our stage (we have an early Instagram presence; Pinterest is unstarted but on the table) — we want your read on where to actually invest effort, not just execution against a predetermined channel list Turn our existing brand voice, founder/instructor story, and content pillars into a real content calendar — we'll give you the raw material, you build the system Write captions and create/adapt visual content (you don't need to be a designer, but you should be comfortable with tools like Canva) Track what's working and adjust — we care about growth that actually converts to subscribers, not just likes Occasionally help coordinate small PR/outreach efforts (podcast guest spots, wellness press, etc.) — not the core of the role, but a plus if you have instincts here What we're looking for: Real experience running social for a subscription, membership, or content-based business (app, platform, creator brand, SaaS-adjacent) — you understand that the job is acquisition and retention, not vanity metrics Comfort in the yoga, fitness, wellness, or mindfulness space is a strong plus, but not required if you have strong subscription-business instincts Self-starter who can take a brand voice and direction and run independently — we'll give you context, not micromanagement Strong, clear writing voice Channel judgment — you've made real calls about where to invest time (and where not to) and can explain why Based in the US preferred (not required) How this role works with the rest of the team: You'll own execution and the day-to-day calendar — this isn't a role where you're waiting on sign-off for every post. You'll occasionally get strategic input from a marketing advisor on positioning and broader direction, but the content calendar and execution are yours to run. What we're not looking for: Someone who needs heavy creative direction on every post An agency or team — we want one person who owns this Time commitment: Part-time, likely 5–10 hours/week to start, with room to grow as we scale past beta. To apply: Tell us about a subscription or membership brand you've grown on social, and what metric you'd actually look at to know it was working. Also — for a brand like ours, zero-audience start, subscription model, wellness-adjacent — where would you prioritize first, and why?
