Social Media Manager (Japan) for English Learning App

Toko (English Learning App) is looking for a creative, organized, and trend-savvy Social Media Manager to grow our presence on Instagram / YT Shorts / TT. You’ll help us connect with Japanese learners who want to speak English confidently, using short-form video, humor, and educational content, localized to local culture. Our goal is to produce viral video content that consistently gets views. This is a part-time, remote-friendly role (posting ~3-5x per week, or 15x a month), perfect for a content creator, student, or freelancer passionate about language learning, storytelling, and community. 📱What you’ll do - Create and schedule short-form English teaching content video posts (~3-5 Reels per week), which includes producing them (ie. shooting and editing) - Schedule and post additional content (max 1-2 posts/wk) produced and provided by Toko team - Cross post on IG, YT Shorts, TT - Brainstorm creative content angles with our Japanese user base in mind - Stay on top of local and global trends, to keep the content fresh and fun - Localize captions and effects for Japan Budget is $350-500 is for a trial period of 2 weeks depending on experience, quality of post, and number of posts. If hired, we will bill by monthly retainer for an agreed upon number of posts.
