**About Us** We are an established 501(c)(3) animal welfare nonprofit dedicated to rescuing dogs from overcrowded shelters, providing individualized care and enrichment, and finding them loving forever homes. We have an engaged community of supporters and are looking to take our social media presence to the next level. We are seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Social Media Manager who can help us grow our audience, increase engagement, strengthen our brand, and integrate fundraising into our social media strategy. **Primary Platforms** * Instagram * TikTok **What We're Looking For** We're looking for someone who can serve as a long-term partner, not just someone who schedules posts. The ideal candidate understands nonprofit storytelling, knows how to create content that resonates emotionally, and has a proven track record of growing social media accounts organically. **Responsibilities** * Develop and execute a monthly social media strategy. * Create engaging content ideas, captions, and campaign concepts. * Edit and produce short-form video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok. * Design graphics and visual assets when needed. * Develop content calendars. * Identify trends, sounds, and creative opportunities that align with our mission. * Grow followers, engagement, reach, and community interaction. * Develop and implement fundraising campaigns tied to social media, including giving days, emergency appeals, peer-to-peer fundraising, sponsorships, and year-end campaigns. * Support promotion of adoptions, volunteer opportunities, events, foster recruitment, sponsorships, and organizational milestones. * Monitor analytics and provide monthly performance reports with recommendations for continued growth. **What We'd Like to Know** When submitting your proposal, please include: * Your experience managing Instagram and TikTok accounts. * Experience working with nonprofits, animal welfare organizations, or mission-driven brands (preferred but not required). * Examples of accounts you've helped grow, including measurable results. * Your creative process for content planning and video production. * Your approach to using social media as a fundraising and donor engagement tool. * What is included in your monthly management package (number of posts, Reels, TikToks, Stories, community management, reporting, etc.). * Whether you provide video editing, graphic design, copywriting, and content planning. * Your recommended posting frequency. * Your monthly fee and any additional costs that may apply. * Your availability and expected turnaround times. * **Three social media accounts you currently manage or have managed, along with the results you helped achieve.** * **One strategy or campaign you would implement during your first 30 days to increase our reach, engagement, and fundraising.** We're looking for someone who is passionate about storytelling, understands how to build engaged communities, and can help transform our social media channels into powerful tools for awareness, fundraising, and impact.
