About CardBench CardBench is a brand-new SaaS platform built specifically for sports card and TCG collectors and dealers. We help users track inventory, log buy/sell/trade transactions, analyze P&L, and negotiate deals in real time using our Deal Builder feature. We're currently in beta with paying subscribers and preparing for a full public launch. The card collecting hobby is exploding — millions of active collectors on social media, a passionate community that spends real money, and almost no dedicated software tools. CardBench is built to own this space. The role We're looking for an experienced social media manager and paid ads specialist who can build our brand from the ground up across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. This is a foundational role — you'll be shaping how CardBench shows up online from day one. What you'll own: Organic content strategy & posting Develop and execute a daily/weekly content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook Create or coordinate short-form video content (TikToks, Reels) demonstrating the app's features in real card collecting scenarios Design static graphics, carousels, and story content Write captions and hashtag strategies optimized for the card hobby community Engage with comments, DMs, and the broader community daily Paid advertising Build, manage, and optimize Facebook/Instagram ad campaigns targeting card collectors and dealers A/B test creative, audiences, and copy to drive free trial signups Manage ad spend efficiently — report on cost per trial, ROAS, and conversion metrics Retargeting campaigns for website visitors and abandoned signups Growth & partnerships Identify and pitch micro-influencers in the card collecting space (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram) Coordinate with affiliate partners and card show promoters Monitor competitor activity and hobby community trends Reporting Weekly performance reports covering follower growth, engagement, ad spend, and trial signups Recommendations based on what's working and what isn't You're a strong fit if you: Have 3+ years managing social media for a SaaS, app, or e-commerce brand Have hands-on experience running Facebook/Instagram ad campaigns with documented results Understand the card collecting hobby OR are a fast learner who can immerse yourself in a passionate niche community Can produce or direct short-form video content (TikTok-native experience is a major plus) Are comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment with a lean team Have examples of accounts you've grown from scratch Bonus points: Experience marketing to hobby/collector communities Familiarity with TikTok Shop or affiliate marketing Email marketing experience (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar) Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, or similar) What we offer: Full creative freedom to build the brand voice from day one Long-term engagement as we scale — this is not a one-off project Access to the full CardBench platform and beta community for content inspiration To apply, please include if you can: Links to 2-3 social media accounts you've managed (with results) One example of a Facebook/Instagram ad campaign you ran — what was the objective, what did you spend, and what were the results A brief paragraph on how you'd approach building a TikTok presence for a niche B2C SaaS app targeting card collectors Your monthly rate We review applications carefully.
