Social Media Manager

The Ghana Diaspora Public Affairs Collective is seeking a dependable and creative digital content and social media assistant based in Ghana to help restore and maintain a consistent content pipeline. GHPAC is a Ghanaian American civic, public-affairs, and community-building organization working to strengthen the voice, visibility, leadership, and economic participation of the Ghanaian diaspora. We need someone who can research, write, design, organize, and prepare content for publication with limited supervision. This is not simply a posting role. The selected freelancer will help us build a repeatable editorial system using GHPAC’s existing Canva templates, photographs, brand assets, and program information. Regular weekly responsibilities Prepare four to five social media content packages per week covering: Ghanaian Americans Ghana–United States relations Diaspora policy Business and investment Ghanaian civic and political developments Culture and community affairs News content must explain why the development matters to GHPAC’s audience, rather than merely reposting headlines or profiles.
