## Social Media Marketer & Content Creator for an AI/Software Startup We are an ambitious AI and software startup looking for a social media marketer and content creator who can turn technical ideas into content people actually want to watch, read, and share. We already have a strategy, brand guidelines, and clear content directions. We are not looking for someone to reinvent our positioning from scratch. We need someone who can understand it, contribute creatively, and execute it consistently across multiple channels. ### What you will work on You will be responsible for: * Creating Reels and short-form videos, from concept and script to editing and final delivery * Writing and publishing content for LinkedIn, X, and Instagram * Creating and updating content for our website * Developing and executing our Reddit strategy * Writing posts that feel native to each platform—not generic copy pasted everywhere * Turning technical topics into clear, entertaining, and engaging content * Contributing new ideas while respecting our existing brand and content strategy * Helping us experiment with formats, humour, trends, and unconventional campaigns ### What we are looking for You should: * Have proven experience in social media marketing and content creation * Be able to create and edit high-quality short-form videos * Be a strong English-language writer * Understand AI, software development, startups, or technical products * Know how Reddit works and understand that it requires a different approach from traditional social media * Be comfortable writing for LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Reddit, and websites * Have a good sense of humour * Know how to make technical content interesting without filling it with empty buzzwords * Be proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment You do not necessarily need to be a developer, but you must be technically curious and able to understand topics related to AI and software development. We are a startup, and we want to take creative risks. We are not looking for safe, bland, overly corporate content. ### Initial paid project — $1,000 total The first engagement will include: * $500 for one launch video * $500 for: * 10 short-form videos/Reels * 10 LinkedIn posts * 2 Reddit posts This initial project will allow us to evaluate creative quality, technical understanding, writing, communication, and reliability. If the collaboration goes well during the first month, we will offer an ongoing contract of $1,200 per month through Upwork to manage our social media presence and create content across all relevant channels. ### How to apply Please include: 1.
