Social Media Marketing Contractor for Kapuli (Operating System for Tour Operators)

Kapuli (www.kapuli.ai) is a safari and wildlife tourism platform connecting multi-day tour operators with travelers. We are an early-stage startup with a live product and are building our brand and customer pipeline from the ground up. Our social presence on LinkedIn and Instagram is newly created and you will be building these audiences from zero. What You’ll Be Doing This is a results-oriented contract role. You own social media growth and lead generation for Kapuli across LinkedIn and Instagram. Specific deliverables include: Content creation: Design and publish creative, dynamic, and interactive posts that build brand awareness and attract our ICP. Account growth: Grow Kapuli’s LinkedIn and Instagram follower counts from zero to 5,000 high-fit followers (not bots or tire kickers). Lead generation: Identify and surface qualified leads that result in booked product demos with our target audience Marketing support: Assist with design of booth materials, branded swag, and clothing when needed Tracking & attribution: Set up and maintain web tags, Google Analytics, and Instagram retargeting so we can measure what’s working What We’re Looking For Must-haves (in order of priority): - Demonstrated experience growing B2B or niche-audience social accounts from scratch (please include examples or case studies) - Experience finding B2B buyers in the US and Europe (primary markets) and Africa and India (secondary markets) - Proficiency with web tags (Google Tag Manager or equivalent), Google Analytics, and Instagram retargeting - Working knowledge of HubSpot (contact/deal creation, lead tracking) - Strong visual design sense — you can create content that doesn’t look like every other travel brand on Instagram - Experience with LinkedIn content strategy for a B2B audience - Experience with Influencer marketing Nice to have: - Prior experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, or wildlife/conservation adjacent industries - Familiarity with audience-building for niche platforms (not just mass-market consumer brands) A Note on Fit This role has a path to full-time for the right person. We’re a small, ambitious team. We want someone who treats this like their own brand, not a client account they manage from a distance.
