Social Media Manager — Instagram & Facebook Growth for an Original Singer/Performer Engagement: Ongoing, part-time to start (with room to grow) Location: Remote Hours overlap: Some availability during US Central business hours preferred About the artist I'm an original singer and performer ("JAGS Nagdev") with an active presence on Facebook and Instagram. I post original music and perform at live events. I'm looking for someone to take ownership of growing my audience and engagement on Instagram and Facebook specifically — building a real, loyal fan base, not vanity numbers. What you'll actually do Own a short-form video (Reels) strategy on IG and FB — hooks, pacing, trending audio, posting cadence Turn one performance or song into multiple clips (repurpose, don't reinvent each time) Plan and run a content calendar and consistent posting schedule Write captions and design covers/thumbnails that earn the click and the save Engage the community — comments, DMs, collabs — to convert viewers into followers Time content around song releases and live events for maximum reach Track what's working in analytics and double down; cut what isn't Report monthly on follower growth, reach, engagement, and what you changed and why What I'm looking for (and how I weight it) Must have (heavily weighted): Demonstrated follower and engagement growth on Instagram and Facebook, with real before/after numbers and timeframes Strong short-form / Reels skills specifically — this is the core of the job Experience growing personal brands or individual creators, not only corporate or product accounts Nice to have (will not filter you out if missing): Experience with musicians, performers, or entertainment accounts Familiarity with Meta's music/licensing rules on Reels and business pages Awareness of the indie-musician or South-Asian-artist promo and collab ecosystem Meta Ads / boosted-post experience (organic growth is the priority, but useful) I don't care whether you've used a specific tool or have worked with singers before.
