ob Description: Founding Social Media Operator Role: Social Media Operator Type: Part-time or contract to start Focus: Own day-to-day execution of Zero’s social presence across key channels About the role vm0 is hiring a hands-on Social Media Operator to run the daily social presence for Zero, our AI teammate for real work. You’ll take raw materials from the team, including product outputs, screenshots, videos, blog ideas, visuals, templates, event notes, and AI-generated drafts, and turn them into polished, platform-native content. The goal is consistent publishing, stronger brand presence, and real community signal we can learn from. This is an execution-heavy role for someone with strong taste, good writing instincts, and the ability to move quickly without needing every post over-directed. What you’ll do Manage our social media channels day to day Turn raw product artifacts, visuals, videos, templates, and team notes into clear social posts Adapt the same core idea into platform-specific formats for LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Instagram, and TikTok Publish consistently and keep the content calendar moving Engage with comments, replies, and community conversations on our behalf Help shape Zero’s voice across platforms Spot opportunities for content themes, series, experiments, and timely posts Track what performs well and share learnings with the team Help turn community responses into future content ideas, product insights, and audience learnings Channels in scope LinkedIn X Reddit Instagram TikTok Who you are You understand what feels native on each platform You can turn rough inputs into strong posts without heavy hand-holding You have strong writing skills and good visual judgment You’re comfortable managing both publishing and community engagement You understand B2B, SaaS, startups, founders, operators, or marketing audiences You can balance brand voice, product storytelling, and audience relevance You move fast, stay organized, and can keep a consistent cadence You have good instincts for what should be a short post, a visual post, a video, a discussion prompt, or a longer LinkedIn piece Nice to have Experience growing LinkedIn accounts Experience with founder-led or startup social content Experience adapting assets for Instagram, TikTok, or short-form video Experience with Reddit or community-led growth Light design or video editing capability Familiarity with AI, productivity tools, SaaS, or founder/operator audiences Ability to identify content patterns from performance data and community replies What we’ll provide Product outputs and internal examples Visual assets, screenshots, videos, illustrations, and templates Blog posts, newsletters, event notes, and core messaging AI-generated draft ideas and raw content inputs Context from the team on what we’re building, launching, and learning Success looks like Consistent, high-quality posting across priority channels Content that feels native to each platform Stronger brand presence for Zero Responsive community engagement Clear learnings on which topics, formats, and channels are working A reliable day-to-day system for turning raw team materials into published content
