Social Media Project Manager & Content Creator — PR/Communications Agency (Part-Time, Ongoing)
Worldwide
About the Role We're a boutique PR and brand strategy agency working with corporate executives and organizations on leadership positioning and communications. We're looking for a detail-oriented social media project manager who can also write and design. Someone who can take existing source materials (white papers, one-pagers, press releases) and turn them into polished, on-brand social content across multiple client accounts. This is not a "create from scratch" role; you'll be adapting and repurposing content we already have, then managing the calendar and execution. Responsibilities - Manage social media content calendars and posting schedules across multiple client accounts (primarily LinkedIn) - Develop and refine social strategy for individual clients based on their positioning, audience, and goals - Write social copy adapted from existing client materials (white papers, one-pagers, press releases, and internal documents) translating long-form, formal content into platform-appropriate posts - Design supporting graphics (branded templates, quote cards, carousel posts) consistent with each client's visual identity - Coordinate with the agency lead on approvals, deadlines, and priorities - Track basic performance metrics and suggest adjustments to content mix - Stay up to date with current LinkedIn and B2B marketing trends Requirements - Proven experience managing social media for multiple clients or brands simultaneously (agency experience strongly preferred) - Strong writing skills, with demonstrated ability to translate technical or formal documents into engaging social content - Graphic design proficiency (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar) with the discipline to maintain brand consistency across accounts - Familiarity with LinkedIn best practices for B2B and executive thought-leadership content - Strong project management and organizational skills — comfortable juggling multiple client calendars and deadlines without close supervision - Reliable, proactive communicator Nice to Have - Experience with executive/thought-leadership content or B2B and professional services clients - Experience with government, defense, financial services, or membership-organization clients Engagement Details - Hourly, ongoing. - Rate commensurate with experience. - Remote, flexible schedule with regular check-ins We're prioritizing quality and reliability over the lowest bid — this has strong potential to grow into a longer-term, higher-hours relationship for the right person. To apply, please include: - A brief note on your experience managing social media for multiple clients/brands - 2–3 samples of social content you've created — ideally showing how you've turned long-form material (reports, articles, one-pagers) into social posts - Any relevant graphic design samples
