Social Media Specialist & Ads Manager (Malaysian Market) – 1 Project (Monthly Retainer)

Job Description We are looking for a reliable freelance social media & Paid Ads Manager to act as our outsource specialist for 1 specific project. This is a freelance contract for 3 to 6 months (with potential to extend to 12 months) paid on a Fixed Monthly Retainer. You will take full ownership of the day-to-day social media management and paid advertising targeting the local Malaysian market. Scope of Work & Deliverables Weekly Content: Create, design, and schedule 2 to 3 high-quality posts per week, optimized for Facebook and Instagram. Monthly Planning: Formulate a content calendar ahead of time so we are always aligned. Design & Copywriting: Handle basic graphic design (e.g., Canva) and write localized captions tailored to Malaysian consumer trends. Paid Ad Management: Set up, monitor, and optimize paid ad campaigns (Meta Ads Manager) to boost reach and generate leads. Monthly Analytics: Deliver a straightforward monthly performance report on time, along with proactive advice on how to improve results. Key Requirements Malaysian Market Experience: Proven track record of managing social media for Malaysian businesses. You understand local trends and demographics. Reliable & On-Time: Punctual delivery of content calendars and monthly reports is critical. Proactive Mindset: You can work independently and actively advise us on strategy.
