Social Media Strategist for New 50+ Female RV Travel Influencer Brand About the Project I am launching a new personal brand centered around a woman 50+ who is living independently and traveling full-time throughout the United States in a Class A motorhome. The brand will focus on authentic, relatable storytelling rather than luxury travel or highly polished influencer content. The audience will primarily consist of: * Women 50+ seeking independence and adventure and inspiration that they can do it, too * People interested in full-time RV living * Solo female travelers * Travel enthusiasts * Individuals considering a lifestyle change after retirement, divorce, becoming an empty nester, or simply wanting more freedom The long-term objective is to build a loyal, engaged community while creating multiple revenue streams through brand partnerships, affiliate marketing, digital products, memberships, sponsorships, YouTube monetization, speaking opportunities, and other creator income sources. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys helping build a brand from the ground up. What I'm Looking For I am seeking an experienced Social Media Strategist who understands how to grow creator brands organically and can develop a comprehensive content strategy—not simply someone who schedules posts. The ideal candidate has experience building personal brands, lifestyle influencers, travel creators, or relatable personalities. Responsibilities Your responsibilities may include: * Develop an overall social media growth strategy * Recommend which platforms should be prioritized (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Threads, LinkedIn, etc.) and why * Identify the role each platform should play within the overall strategy * Recommend the optimal content mix, including: Short-form video, Long-form video, Talking-head videos, Voice-over content, Photos, Carousels, Stories, Livestreams, Written posts, Blog or newsletter content * Create a content framework that supports consistent brand messaging * Develop a realistic posting schedule and editorial calendar * Identify content pillars and recurring content series * Assist with scripting and story development * Review and edit content for engagement, clarity, and platform optimization * Recommend hooks, titles, captions, hashtags, keywords, and calls to action * Optimize content for audience growth and engagement * Monitor performance metrics and recommend ongoing strategy adjustments * Identify trends relevant to the target audience without sacrificing authenticity * Provide guidance on community engagement and audience building * Recommend systems and workflows to make content production efficient while traveling * Develop a roadmap for monetization as the audience grows, including affiliate marketing, sponsorships, digital products, memberships, courses, email marketing, and other appropriate revenue opportunities * Provide ongoing strategic advice as the brand evolves Ideal Qualifications Please apply if you have experience with: * Building creator brands from the beginning * Growing engaged audiences organically * Social media strategy across multiple platforms: YouTube strategy, Instagram growth, TikTok growth, Facebook communities * Content marketing * Personal branding * Storytelling * Creator monetization * Analytics and performance optimization Experience working with travel creators, RV creators, women-focused brands, lifestyle creators, or creators over age 50 is a significant plus. Deliverables Initially, I would like to receive: * A comprehensive social media strategy * Platform recommendations with supporting rationale * Defined target audience personas * Brand positioning recommendations * Content pillar recommendations * A 90-day content plan * A posting calendar * Recommendations for content creation workflows * Initial monetization roadmap * KPIs and success metrics Following the initial strategy, I expect ongoing collaboration to refine the strategy, review content, monitor growth, and adjust the plan as the brand develops.
